Little Darlin and Medication were recorded in 1991 by Scott Reeder, and released as a single on Buzz Osbourne’s F*ck You Records.
SOS was recorded in 1992 by Rob Schnapf and Tom Rothrock, and released as the A side of a single on Bongload Records, Los Angeles.
Kill The Crow and The Witch were recorded at Westbeach Recorders in Los Angeles, by Donnell Cameron and released as a single in 1993 on Bongload Records, Los Angeles.
So Many Ways, Dear Dorothy, and Sister Song were released in 1994 as a bonus single with the vinyl version of the “Box Set” album, on Bongload Records. Produced by Rob Schnapf and Tom Rothrock.
Coalinga and Superman Is Dead were recorded live at the Metropol in Pittsburgh, PA on October 10, 1994 by Joey Pea. Previously unreleased.
Soundcheck Song and Don’t Bother Me were recorded in 1996 at Doug Messenger’s Studio, North Hollywood, CA by Philip Stevenson and released as a single on Crippled Dick Hot Wax (Germany).

Both tracks here are better than everything on the Black Age Blues album, in my humble opinion. Deathwish is a change of style for Goatsnake, being in a much faster tempo, almost punky, still heavy as f*ck though, and incredibly catchy... love it! Master of Alchemy

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
